- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. There are no situations in which huffing at customers is professional or acceptable behaviour by a customer facing receptionist. ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ADVISED YOU THAT THEY HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE. My last straw with this surgery came when a receptionist that was trying to help, failed to realise that my protestations and questions were because I didn't I didn't feel that what she was offering was help to me. I couldn't understand how I could receive one service from a receptionist one day, and different the next. So instead of thinking she continued to try to force her own agenda, her own type of what she thought was 'help' rather than indicating in the slightest that she understood my position. I gave up at the lack of said 'help' and went to leave. And that would have been it had she not huffed at me as I left. She obviously disapproved of my following response to swear at her lack of respect, professionalism or understanding, she showed that she felt that disabled people with brain damage are capable of acting exactly like those with brains that work. She then proceeded to fail to understand that I wasn't leaving because I wanted an apology, that I thought it would be useful for the future if she understood why I was upset, but she didn't want to listen, instead she wanted to defend her unacceptable behaviour. I still doubt she understands. I got the feeling that she thought I was trying to pick on her. I get the feeling that by tonight she will have made herself the protagonist of a situation that was NEVER ABOUT HER. Had she actually stopped and thought... wait... this woman with BRAIN DAMAGE doesn't understand the help I'm trying to give, had she stopped and thought... wait..... this 'help' is obviously not helping, had she stopped to think... wait... is there another option.
